Brief Introduction

I was born in a village of Bonga, a remote village, Tampan Bonga, North Toraja, South Sulawesi on March 5, 1966. I grew up in that village until I graduated from junior high school. To continue my high school education I had to move to the nearest city, namely Rantepao, North Toraja.

After graduating from high school, I continued my education at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Hasanuddin University, Makassar in 1992

Setammat from the University, I worked for several agricultural companies in Kalimantan and returned to Toraja in 1999 until now.

I am interested in the field of Sustainable Community development. Besides that, I am also interested in environmental preservation, cultural preservation and local wisdom.

During my return to Toraja I worked a lot with small farmers to increase their capacity in agricultural cultivation and together with them did a lot of advocacy on climate change issues to the international level.

Since 2000, I joined Pusbinlat Motivator-GT as Information and Communication Manager. Beside of that, in the organization also become Manager a Project called Lighthouse Project which run various activities on Adaptation, Mitigation, and Disaster Risk Redaction caused by Climate Change.
